Peec AI alternatives with published pricing include Otterly, Ahrefs Brand Radar, Semrush and AthenaHQ, plus Profound for agencies. Before you switch, compare engines, countries, export, API and agency plans, because Peec AI competitors each solve a different need. Then plan how to move your Peec AI prompts.

In short

  • Peec AI starts at $95 a month, with 50 prompts on three models and one country per project. Among the paid plans of Peec AI alternatives, only Otterly and Ahrefs custom prompts start below that.
  • For the same list of 50 daily prompts on three engines, however, switching barely saves money. Ahrefs, for example, comes to $90 to $100, and Otterly rises to $189.
  • On Peec AI brand plans, Perplexity is an extra model, and Claude is on Enterprise. Otterly, Ahrefs and AthenaHQ, on the other hand, include Perplexity at no extra cost.
  • History doesn’t migrate. So export the chats and the prompt list before you cancel, and run both tools side by side for one cycle.

Why look for Peec AI alternatives?

Peec AI alternatives are worth a look when a plan limit gets in the way of your measurement. The pricing page shows the main ones. Up to Advanced, plans run three active models and offer Perplexity only as an add-on. Starter also covers just one country. In addition, the Peec AI documentation restricts the API to Enterprise, and agencies only get Data Studio from Scale up.

Peec AI competitors solve different parts of this list, and each one charges in its own unit. So the next sections compare one criterion at a time. The overview of seven tools, including collection through the interface or the API, is in our GEO tools comparison.

If the topic is new to you, start with our guide to what GEO is. NotHuman, which publishes this blog, works in the same market, so we left it out of the comparison.

Which Peec AI alternatives cover the same AI engines?

Peec AI lets you pick three of six models: ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. So Peec AI alternatives stand apart on Perplexity and Claude. Up to Advanced, Perplexity is an extra model, while Claude only comes with Enterprise or, for agencies, from Scale up.

OtterlyIncluded on every planExtra, $29 to $439 a month
Ahrefs Brand RadarIncluded in custom promptsThrough the API, at 8 checks per run
AthenaHQIncluded on Starter, at $295Included, at 5 credits per answer

Overall, the figures come from the Peec AI, Otterly and AthenaHQ pricing pages, on monthly billing. At Otterly, each prompt runs on ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. However, Gemini and AI Mode cost $9 a month each on Lite. Claude, in turn, comes in through the API, with the Haiku model.

At Ahrefs, custom prompts run on seven engines, such as Perplexity, Gemini and AI Mode. Each extra engine also multiplies check usage. In fact, each Claude run uses eight checks, as our Ahrefs Brand Radar review shows. AthenaHQ, on the other hand, includes Claude, Grok and DeepSeek on Starter, models that Peec AI keeps for bigger plans. There, however, these three cost 5 credits per answer, not 1.

Finally, Semrush Prompt Tracking measures one engine per campaign: ChatGPT, AI Mode or Gemini.

Which Peec AI alternatives collect data from Brazil and in Portuguese?

Three Peec AI competitors list Brazil among the countries they cover: Otterly, Semrush and Ahrefs. Peec AI also accepts the BR country code and doesn’t limit languages on any plan. The limit is on countries: one per project on Starter and three on Pro and Advanced. At Otterly and Ahrefs, however, each extra country counts as another prompt or check.

  • Otterly: according to Otterly’s help center, Brazil appears in all seven engines. The prompt goes to the engine exactly as the user wrote it, in any language. However, you can’t change a prompt’s country after you create it, and the dashboard is only in English.
  • Semrush: the Semrush help center says Prompt Tracking covers more than 220 countries and territories. Each campaign has its own location and language. For Brazil, it even shows prompt volume and topics, a feature that only exists in 15 countries.
  • Ahrefs: the BR code is on the API’s country list, and each location you pick uses one check.
  • AthenaHQ: Claude and DeepSeek answer through each model’s own API, with no country parameter. So, on those engines, AthenaHQ assigns the country that the prompt text mentions.
  • Profound: the documentation gives Brazil and Portuguese as an example of region and language. The agency client workspace, however, runs only one language.

Peec AI itself warns that an engine may not serve some countries, and then it doesn’t create the chat. Therefore, before you pick one of the Peec AI alternatives, run your list in Portuguese with Brazil as the country. Then check each engine’s answers.

Which Peec AI alternatives export answers and offer an API?

Among Peec AI competitors, Otterly and Ahrefs include the API on plans with published pricing. At Peec AI, the project’s chats export as CSV, and the MCP server comes with every plan. The Peec AI API, however, comes with conflicting information. The pricing table marks API access from Pro up, while the Peec AI documentation limits access to Enterprise customers.

Otterly offers its API from Standard up, at $189, with 2,000 requests a month. In addition, it exports each prompt’s raw answers as CSV or JSON on every plan.

Likewise, Ahrefs includes the API and MCP on its Lite plan, at $129. Pulling custom prompt data through the API, in fact, doesn’t use up any units. AthenaHQ sells the API as a Starter add-on with no published price. Semrush, meanwhile, keeps the API for Semrush One Advanced, with custom pricing. Finally, Profound only offers the API on Enterprise.

Before you switch, ask the Peec AI competitors for a sample export file. That way, you can check that it has the full answer text, not just the metrics.

Which Peec AI alternative works for agencies?

Peec AI agency plans cost $245 to $795 a month and run on credits. Among Peec AI competitors, Otterly adds prompts through a partner program with no fee. Profound, on the other hand, charges $399 per client on top of a $99 base. So the size of your client roster decides the math.

At Peec AI, one credit equals one prompt, on one model, for one day. Therefore, each of your Peec AI prompts takes up 90 credits a month on three models. Otterly, in contrast, gives partners 150 prompts on Standard, with Data Studio but no native white label. At Profound, each client workspace includes 100 daily prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews, in one language.

With 10 clients and 50 daily prompts each, Otterly costs $489 a month. Peec AI costs $795, with three engines instead of four. The math for three brands is in our Otterly vs Peec AI comparison. Our guide to AI visibility tools for agencies covers the cost of 25 and 50 clients, client access and white label.

How do Peec AI alternatives charge?

Peec AI competitors charge in different units: prompts, checks, credits or client workspaces. So compare the same list. With 50 daily prompts on three engines, Peec AI costs $95 a month on Starter. Ahrefs, meanwhile, comes to $90 to $100. Otterly, in turn, rises to $189, with four fixed engines.

ToolBilling unit50 daily prompts, per month
Peec AIPrompt, on three models of your choice$95, on Starter
AhrefsCheck: prompt × engine × location$90 to $100, on three engines
OtterlyPrompt, on four fixed engines$189, on Standard
SemrushPrompt, one engine per campaign$159, on one engine only
AthenaHQCredit: one answer4,500 credits on three models, above Starter
ProfoundClient workspace, for agencies$498, with 100 prompts

The math uses the 50-prompt list from our measurement protocol, which runs every day. At Ahrefs, that list uses 4,500 checks a month. So the Growth pack, at $100, covers the volume, and the Basic pack, at $50, reaches $90 with overage. At Semrush, the $99 toolkit includes 25 prompts, and each pack of 50 more costs $60.

Does switching cut costs?

Barely, for a list this size. For readers in Brazil, Peec AI comes to about R$479 in reais, and Otterly to R$953. At Ahrefs, the math runs from R$454 to R$504. These figures use the PTAX selling rate from Brazil’s Central Bank adopted in this guide: R$5.0441 per dollar. They leave out Brazil’s IOF tax and other taxes. In other words, among Peec AI competitors, only Ahrefs matches the Peec AI price on this list, and the others cost more. The savings show up on smaller lists, such as the 15 prompts on Otterly Lite, at $29. Otherwise, engines, countries or the API justify the switch.

How do you migrate prompts and history from Peec AI?

When you move to a Peec AI alternative, you can take your prompts, but not your answer history. Chats export as CSV, and Peec AI competitors import the list from a file or pasted in, one per line. In the new tool, however, the series starts on the day you add the prompts. So run both tools side by side for one cycle.

  1. Export before you cancel. In the Projects tab, Peec AI creates a CSV with all of the project’s chats. The prompt list, in turn, comes out through the MCP server, which works on every plan, without the Peec AI API.
  2. Archive instead of deleting. If you need to downgrade during the switch, archive your Peec AI prompts. At Peec AI, an archived prompt stops running and keeps its history, while a deleted prompt loses all its data.
  3. Import with the right country. Otterly accepts CSV or text files with one prompt per line, and it asks for the country on import. However, the file can’t include tags. Semrush imports TXT or CSV in each campaign, and AthenaHQ uses a CSV template. Finally, at Ahrefs, you paste the list into a saved report, one prompt per line.
  4. Run both tools side by side for one cycle. Otterly, for example, doesn’t recover data from before you add a prompt. So your first month on the Peec AI alternative becomes the baseline.

Each of the Peec AI competitors calculates visibility its own way. Therefore, only compare numbers within the same tool, and keep the list, the engines and the country during the switch.
